Jeff Nelson had grown restless selling hardware. His
company, Bolt, LTD. of Elkhart , Indiana , specialized in building
computer systems and networks. But he knew that in the emerging age
of product specialization, he needed to move the company in
We saw the opportunity to be more focused, Nelson said. We knew nothing about document imaging, but we saw that it was an emerging technology and we wanted to be apart of it. After doing a search online we found LaserFiche and gave them a call. We became a reseller right away. That was in 1999. As 2003 comes to a close, Bolt is on the verge of reaching the LaserFiche Winners Circle for the first time. It's an excellent testament to the company's hard work, as the home office is located at the northern tip of Indiana which is in a sparsely populated region. Nelson positions LaserFiche to customers and prospects as a system that can grow with the organization. LaserFiche is a mature product, feature-rich, with modules to satisfy a lot of needs. It's intuitive and most importantly, it's really scalable. Out-of-the-box we can create a solution that they can scale to their needs. We want to get our customers up and running with LaserFiche as soon as possible Nelson doesn't rely exclusively on traditional marketing techniques to bring in new customers. To supplement good word-of-mouth he also uses radio ads to create buzz, which has been quite successful. Click here to hear BOLT radio ads. When Nelson says we he refers to himself
and his wife, Cathy, who is the President of Bolt Document Management,
the company that emerged from the move to LaserFiche. Bolt, LTD, once
the primary company, has now become the hardware
support facility to Bolt Document Management. |
